We celebrated Christmas Eve at Joan and Warren's, as is tradition. The boys loved opening all of their gifts from the family, and we all had a wonderful time. The BEST part of the night (outside of the food and Warren's Cajun Night Before Christmas, of course) was seeing the boys' faces as they got their final Christmas presents - a Lightning McQueen Powerwheels for Isaiah and a Mater for Gavin. They are both OBSESSED with the movie Cars, so naturally this was the coolest thing they'd ever seen.
I love Gavin's face in this one. Mind. Blown.
He went for Lightning, but as soon as we explained that Mater was his, he was good!
Happiest guy in the world!
Anthony teaching Isaiah how to steer.
Collision!
Whoa! This thing goes fast!
Of course Gavin loves to crash it into things.
Him loves his Gandy.
The next morning, we opened presents from Mom & Dad and Santa at home. It was the best Christmas morning I've ever had - having kids just makes everything so awesome. Gavin really got into opening gifts, and was super excited by everything he got. He is so easy to please at this age. Gotta love it!
Fire truck!
39 weeks pregnant...
I love this because it shows what a mess we made of relatively few gifts. He had so much fun!
This next series of pictures just steals my heart. He is such a joyful, wonderful kiddo... so happy he loves Christmas and all of his presents!
