Gavin's First Photoshoot

We went to a 4D ultrasound place with Warren, Joan, Ashley, Anthony, Isaiah and Gabe today, and Gavin put on quite a show... he was all smiles and wide-eyed, and super rambunctious for the camera. We love him so much already!!! IS IT JUNE YET???

He's a big goober like his parents and kept sticking his foot in his eye - very limber, and very silly!

Big smiles!

His nose is squished, but his lips are amazing!!!

Wall Letters! Middle Names! Oh My!

We're officially announcing that Gavin's middle name will be William (after Beth's dad... though Chris will be sure to take partial credit, and that's not a bad thing either!) :D

So, Gavin William Lewis it is! Beth looked up the meaning and it is "White Hawk, Strong-Willed Warrior, Famed Warrior," so that's pretty badass. And a very "white name" as Beth's students would say. Let the "Wee Willy" nicknames commence, Ashley ;)

Also, I've worked my butt off on these puppies, so I thought I'd share!

Gavin's Shower 3/13/11

Gavin had his very first party on Sunday -- like any Lewis party, it was replete with cocktails (not for his mama, don't worry!), pirate outfits, loud and fun ladies, Gabe's camera and Mac products...

Peggy, Joan, Ashley and Allison did such an amazing job with the shower. I was blown away by the decorations and details (all Peggy, I'm betting!), the food and drinks, and the gifts. These women are so amazing, and so dear to my heart. I felt so special to be so honored :)

AND, Sarah came into town and surprised the PANTS OFF OF ME! So that was the icing on the cake! Geoff even stopped by to meet-and-greet at the end and load up our loot. If only my mom could've been there, it would have been the perfect day!

Thank you to everyone who came -- it was so much fun! Here are a few pics to show what the day was like:

Peggy's attention to detail is unmatched... she is amazing!

I miss drinking with these two goons :) They're the best!

Ashley's amazing diaper cake!

"Do you think we can siphon out the booze without eating the raspberry?" :D

Beautiful Gigi!!!!

Giving Allison the answers to the quiz...

Hahhahahhahaha... love this game! Thanks Auntie LeeLee for teaching it to us!

The amazing hostess with the mostess, and the coolest cake ever! Billy's sister is AWESOME!

Week 28 - Bumpage and 4th Blog o' the Week!

Here are some bump pics for those who haven't seen me recently, though not specifically for Sarah as promised because she's a BIG LIAR and tricked me by coming to my shower :D It made my day!

The Nursery is Coming Along Nicely!

An IKEA trip left us with some finishing touches for the nursery :)

It's all coming together -- definitely the best room in the house!

Thank you to Greg and Leslie for the Jeep walker -- WE LOVE IT!

Thank you to Aunt Gracie for the lamp --
it makes the room complete!!!

And last but CERTAINLY not least - the entryway to our nursery with our stroller from Beth's parents -  the PERFECT stroller for their grandbaby!

Team "Suck It Cancer!" Rules!

I wanted to post some pictures of our team for the American Cancer Society's Climb to Conquer Cancer, since I finally have a free moment (WOOHOO Spring Break!). The 11 of us kicked ass 5.6 miles up South Mountain (a bit easier for some than others! eek!) and raised over $2,100 in only 2 short weeks. What can I say -- our friends and family are amazing! It was a wonderful event to be a part of, and such an honor to walk for those we love who have fought and beat cancer, who are fighting the beast now, and who have succumbed to what our dear Joanie calls a "relentless bitch of a disease." It was a GREAT DAY!

Joan's ready to get the show on the road.
Kickass ladies!
Perspective is a beautiful thing!
The backs of these shirts turned out great!
Listening to Dream Theater to get amped up, of course!
Serious mode.
Sweet shot, babe...
The traditional Gabe wave, and Auntie Peggy being helpful with stroller duties... I was about to pay Isaiah to let me accompany him ;)
Pretty view - and sweet relief to be at the top.
Made it! Balla status!
Joanie bought a flag for our dear Grandma Barbara -- and planted it at the top of the mountain in tribute. So cool!
Ah sweet relief... now get me on the damn bus!
